The difference is in the cotton: Our Soft Touch robes are not heavily treated with silicone. Heavy silicone finishes can give lower-quality terry a temporary soft feel while reducing its initial absorbency. Once that finish washes away, lower-quality cotton can feel rough. These robes rely on long-staple cotton for lasting softness.
